For when Hero′di-as’ daughter came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests; and the king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you wish, and I will grant it.” And he vowed to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.” And she went out, and said to her mother, “What shall I ask?” And she said, “The head of John the baptizer.” And she came in immediately with haste to the king, and asked, saying, “I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter.” And the king was exceedingly sorry; but because of his oaths and his guests he did not want to break his word to her. And immediately the king sent a soldier of the guard and gave orders to bring his head. Mark 6:22-27

Meaning And Ban Of Promises

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, who are those people?

Who is that person that is every time making promises, making promises and making promises?

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, what is a promise?

The Head: A promise is something a person decides by himself, to do for God or his fellow human being.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, ourselves do not want people who make promises.

The Head: Yes, because many make promises nowadays, but fail to fulfil their promises. In many churches, ministries and fellowships, the records of pledges are many but many pledges remain unfulfilled.

Apostle Matthew: That is a very great and terrible guilt.

The Head: And that is why in this DivineBase Ministry, making promises or sowing of seeds have being banned. Whatever a person wants to do, let him first prepare the same at home. When it is ready, let the person bring it to the house of God. But if it is not ready, let the person leave it.

Warning To The Ministers Of God

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, tell all those people who are fond of making promises, many of humanity have made it a habit.

The Head: Yes. Roman Catholic Church, ministers of God, pastors and reverend fathers, cause this problem, because they are the ones persuading and pushing people to make promises.

How To Make Good Promise

Apostle Matthew: Son of man… tell humanity to stop it. Before they make any promise, they have to first examine themselves, whether they are perfect and able to do so or not, whether the promise is from the depth of the heart, their heart’s desire or not. Son of man, before people make promise, let them first inquire from the Angels:

Number 1, this person that I am about to make promise to, is it what God wants?

Number 2, is it worthwhile to do such a thing for the person?

Number 3, has the person qualified for the promise and its fulfillment?

Number 4, if the promise is fulfilled, will the person use it to achieve what shall glorify God?

Number 5, or will the person take the promise to the cultic shrine or use it to live worldly lifestyle?

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, many people who do make promise, do so because themselves do not … and make promise.

Son of man, is it because one person they love so much is able to ask and get something from them, and therefore, they make promise?

Making promise that destroys things, just as Herod did.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, ourselves, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, are canceling the making of promises.

The Head: Yes.  Even the promise Herod made, is cancelled. When a king says what shall be done, and that thing will kill somebody, inconvenience another person or suffer a human being, the promise or plan should be revised or settled in a way that is good and safe. The leader or government must not go on to implement it, just because it has being said or planned. Doing so, going on to do a harmful thing is not good leadership.

The king is like the driver. The driver has to drive the vehicle in such a way to prevent or avoid accident, and in such a way not to harm people. The fact that a king has said something, and therefore what he said must be done, is not good leaderships. Good leadership is by the truth, righteousness, holiness and in doing the will of God. It is not to fear somebody, and it is not to say that a person is strong and mighty, that once he says something, that thing must be done. No.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, tell humanity to go back and study how their fore, fore, fore fathers make promise, how Abraham made promise.

Number 1, he first asks the person, what do yourself want?

Number 2, and the person will say it.

Number 3, if it is not his desire to do that thing, Abraham will tell the person that the person cannot get the thing.

Number 4, son of man, if it is his desire, Abraham will make promise to the person that he, Abraham, will do so.

Cancelation Of Promises

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, this type of promise, telling somebody, “Whatever you say, I give it to you,” and that of Abraham, which one is better?

The Head: Abraham’s style is better.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, at least, himself has known the extent that he can go in fulfilling the promise.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: But many kings, presidents and governors do not know this. Themselves tell a person to say whatever that the person wants, “Whatever that is in this world, myself will give to you”.

The Head: They are not supposed to say that, because there is nothing in the world that belongs to them. A person who does not have, should not use what he does not have to make promise. Whatever belongs to God, should be used to do work as God wants. Even so if a person were a king, president or governor. All the leaders, all the people in leadership positions, have by this promise put themselves in bondage. Every one of them is busy doing his own personal will, without first inquiring from God. They are even making laws that are against the laws of God. That is bad, and it is terribly very bad. Time has come, they have to reverse such actions,

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, ourselves, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, want humanity to stop such bad behaviours and wrong practices. It was by such promises that made King Solomon broke the covenant laws of God. Son of man, his various wives were coming to him and begging for things from him. Himself told the wives, “Just say what you want and I will give it to you”.

The Head: It is not good that way.

Apostle Matthew: Many of them were asking for riches and wealth, for temple to be built for their respective gods. Many requested him to follow them to go and worship their gods. King Solomon made the promises by himself, and could not refrain from fulfilling the promises, because he made the promise with his heart, willingly.

Son of man, even so it was with Aaron.

Son of man, this making of promises is cancelled.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: Today, we, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, are cancelling promises.

Against Sowing Of Seeds

The Head: Even so it is with sowing of seeds. In various churches, ministries and fellowships, the religious leaders, ministers of God, pastors and reverend fathers, push people into making promises, into sowing of seeds. Many people do make promises or sow seeds, but not with their hearts. Others do so, but keep on complaining and complaining and complaining. Many others make the promise, and sow the seed, and then go into the Internet to publish the same all over the world, regretting it.

Sowing of seeds is not what the children of God shall be pushed into always, because many do not have. Among those who have, it is not their heart’s desire to make promise or sow seed.

The Consequences Of Sowing Seeds

The habit of sowing seed has given the wrong training to the children of God, such that when they come to the house of God, none is ready to prepare his heart, for himself to be perfect in the presence of God. What everybody bears in mind is to make promise, and after making the promise, he goes home, only to come back after God has answered his prayers to give testimony.

Making promise or sowing seed is now making people to run away from the house of God. To the extents that when people come into the temple of God, they no longer know what is praying to God or worshipping God. People no longer learn what God wants, to do it. They bear it in mind that to worship God is to come to the house of God, then God will do something for the person and the person will come to give testimony. After giving the testimonies, many leave the church and may not come again until they are in trouble or in need of solutions.

Humanity should know that majority of the people who have given testimonies do not have their names in the Lamb’s Book Of Life, in heaven, because they have not yet done the will of God by keeping His covenant laws and by worshipping God the way God wants – many are busy worshipping God the way themselves want, which worship does not reach up to the roof of their churches, ministries and fellowships, let alone ascend to the sky.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, ourselves, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, are saying it, and we are saying it hard – loud and clear. Any person who makes promise to God has to fulfill it, because himself has made the promise.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: It is a law that the person will fulfill the promise. Then, if there is a change in situation or expectation, the person shall first go to the altar and inquire from God, about what shall be done. If there is a way that God settles the matter, then let him go and do so, because he made the promise with his heart, willingly.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: He has to fulfil it. But, if there is a change in situation, let the person inquire from God. If God tells him to fulfil the promise one way or the other, let the person do so. But if God says, “You have to fulfill the promise you made,” let the person go and fulfil it with purity of heart. This is because the cane that follows promise and fail, the Angels do not finish the flogging – endless punishment. And it cannot be reversed by pleading for mercy and forgiveness.
